So Many Ways to Help!
Karri Grant, a 2009 Me-One Camper who is still fighting her breast cancer, passed along some great information about a terrific non-profit organization called The Cleaning for a Reason Foundation. This group offers free, professional housecleaning and maid services to improve the lives of women undergoing treatment for any type of cancer. They recruit professional residential maid services who are insured and bonded to participate in their foundation by cleaning patients’ homes once a month for four months while they are in treatment. Their slogan is “One less thing to worry about”.
