Yamamoto and Lee just donated over 100 toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss and mouth rinse to Me-One, a non-profit organization which holds a free Summer weekend camp for families battling cancer. The purpose of their vacation-type Camp Challenge weekend is to give these families a break from the stressful routine of doctor visits and treatments. It’s a place to rekindle the family time that has been taken by cancer.
Having been involved in UCLA UniCamp as well as Camp Good Times, I really understand and appreciate how a weekend at camp can be an attitude changing experience and create lifelong memories. Keep up the good work, Me-One!
